i never sat up a password for the encryption of my backup, and yet its asking me for my password on itunes??!!!!!

i want to backup my iphone 11 pro on my windows laptop, and when i installed itunes the encrypted backup is on by default and when i try to turned off its asking me for my password, so when i enter my iphone passcode on itunes its directing me to enter my iphone passcode on the iphone which i do but i keep getting an error that the entered passcode on the iphone is incorrect while its 100% correct which opens my iphone normally

If you have forgotten the password, or were not aware that encryption had been enabled, consider that it might be any computer, Apple ID, Wi-Fi password or device PIN that you've used in the past, working from the assumption that you might have reused a common password that you were using when encryption was first activated. See About encrypted backups on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support for details.
