Voice message on iMessage
I am unable to record a voice message on iMessage. I am able to receive everything and send everything. Except for the voice messages. It’s just faded gray color and cannot be clicked on.

If you mean this symbol …
… then:
- it is not the way to include a voice message. If you were able to click it, it would start dictation, which can actually be started by clicking the microphone shown in the lower right corner of the keyboard.
- The way to include a voice message is to tap the plus sign at the left of the row indicated by the arrow and choose “Audio” from the resulting drop-down.
