Speed camera alerts no longer showing when following a route.

I just drove a long motorway journey, using Apple Car Play, a journey I have driven many times before. This time there were none of the normal alerts for speed cameras. Not a single one. No icons on the map, no voice alert. I tried disconnecting Car Play, cancelling the route and closing Maps. Then reconnecting and starting a new route, still no alerts. The alerts used to show fine before the 17.1.2 update.

How do you turn off speed camera alerts in Apple Maps, but keep everything else? It's very annoying hearing speed camera alerts every few minutes when driving on the M25 in London. I really don't care about them and they cut over music / radio constantly. How do I turn them off but keep all directions from being spoken? The only settings I see are the ones listed here: Change settings for spoken directions in Maps on iPhone – Apple Support (UK) (It doesn't actually define what a 'driving alert' is here either) What I want: Spoken directions: always Hazards: always Speed cameras: never
