Backup project replaced with a different project

Hello everyone, I am fairly new to FCP but searching with some of the keywords did not yield any relevant information or similar questions so I will post it without worrying too much about asking something that has been answered already.

what happened is:

I was working on a project B within library B

FCP crashed (10.7)

I tried retrieving the project by opening a backup

project B is replaced with a project from a different library A

all of the available backups going up to hours ago for B, all seem to have been somehow replaced or overwritten by the other project A of library A.

is this a common issue? any way to retrieve my project B?

any information is appreciated.

thank you very much in advance!

FCP crashed (10.7)

We are collecting data on FCP10.7 crashes, so please help us with your questions.

Q1: macOS version?

Q2: What did you do when it crashed?

I tried retrieving the project by opening a backup
project B is replaced with a project from a different library A

When you open the backup of project B, a renamed project A will be created in the same folder. This is normal operation, so there is no problem.

The edited contents of the backup file and the edited contents of Project B should have been different. This is because the saved times are different. Naturally, they are treated separately.

any way to retrieve my project B?

I don't think you can use the crashed project B, so please give up. I can only blame myself for not keeping a copy of my library and old FCP applications in case I run into trouble.
