I’ve been importing trail camera pictures to my iPhone 12Pro using an SD card adaptor. I have two of these adaptors. I just imported pics a month ago but now that the 17.1.2 update was loaded to my phone, it does not recognize the card reader.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Ensure that the SD card adapter is compatible with your iPhone model and iOS version. Sometimes, certain adapters may not work well with specific updates.
2. Dust or debris might interfere with the connection. Try cleaning both the SD card adapter and the iPhone's lightning port carefully.

All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.
