Left Apple Watch in stand charger and I am gone for a week

Left Apple Watch Series 5 on a stand charger and I am gone for a week. Is this a fire hazard and will it damage watch?

That should not be a problem.

But if concerned, you can also change it to 80% (optimize charging), then power the Apple Watch off (hold the flat oval side button for 5-10 seconds, then tap the power icon, in the upper right of the display, to power it off). The 80% would be for very long term storage. For a week anything above 50% should be fine, even 100%

Both are acceptable
