Mac crashes when changing ICC profiles to print with Epson Ecotank 8550

Hi, my mac mini (M2 pro - Sonoma 14.2 - all software up to date) crashes every time I try to print and select an ICC colour profile (e.g. I select print > printer options > colour matching > select a colour sync profile.. and bum, the app quits).

It must be a Mac OS issue because it happens with every app (pages, photoshop, safari, Lightroom etc)

I tried different colour profiles (epson, canson, other paper brands and it's the same)

I have installed / uninstalled / reinstalled the printer software more than once (an EPSON Ecotank 8550) but keeps crashing.

I tried to repair ICC profiles with ColourSync - it repaired few corrupted but then it still crashes.

Any clue / idea? it is practically impossible to print photos anymore :-(

Since you've already tried reinstalling clean copies of the driver software, give this a shot.

Open the System Settings and click on Printers & Scanners. Right click on any installed printer and choose Reset Printing System.

Add your printers again and test.

Can you post the entire crash log, please? Someone here may be able to help after seeing that. And sending feedback to Apple might also be helpful.
