SharePlay disabled but can’t share music without shareplay

I’ve already disabled SharePlay via FaceTime in settings but everytime I try to share a song it tries to send with SharePlay and will tell the person I’m trying to share the song with that SharePlay ended. I just want to share the song I don’t want to listen to it. Should I chalk it up to another apple bug 🙄? These products are too expensive to have these annoying issues.
