I forgot my Mac login password and

I forgot my Mac login password and when I read the article on this subject, I decided to restart it, but there was no option to reset the password in the article. And my password attempts

Start with If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support, keep going with If you can't reset your Mac login password - Apple Support, until you reach the end.
