My iphone 11Pro Max was stolen in Belgium, location showing. Using Find my "Erase " was initiated. Then 1 month later, this morning it showed up in Morocco and I received a msg "iphone is being erased." 5 hours later it simply shows the phone location in Morocco not saying erased, nothing. What does this mean? They succeeded in reactivating it?

I found the answer: My husband initiated the erase function perhaps it is the reason we received different updates (though I cannot see why it shoule be). I received a " erasing started" email from Apple. Now when I see the location of my stolen phone it just shows the location. My husband's phone Find's screen says: "Erased" for the location of my old phone and no maps to show where it was last. So, not sure why my new phone does not show my previous phone being erased. But I am very happy it is.
