Roaming calls

I am from Sri Lanka but currently in USA trying to get roaming calls. I’m unable to make it as on the screen indicates sos where normally signal bars a dysplayed. Please advice.

Setup: iPhone Pro Max 15 with two eSims from two EU countries. When in country 1, I can use eSim 1 without restrictions. I can also use Data and Texts with eSim 2 (which is roaming). I cannot make or receive voicecalls with eSim2. When in country 2, I can use eSim 2 without restrictions. I can also use Data and Texts with eSim 1 (which is roaming). I cannot make or receive voicecalls with eSim1. The Network operators from both countries say all is well in their system and that I should not have any roaming restrictions. They also say that when there are restrictions, they apply to Voice and Data, never just to Voice. Both eSims work correctly in another phone, even in Roaming, so the Network operators seem to be right. I wiped my phone and brought it to an Apple Repair shop. After a week they gave it back saying that they had changed the IMEI. Well, that didn't help. I tried once more to contact Apple support. They want me to once more wipe my phone to see if the issue maintains. No use in explaining that I did that already. Anyone else had such an issue?

My Mobile Data setting does not have Roaming Off button on my iPhone 16 Pro (My Carrier in Australia is Optus) My Mobile Data setting appears and confirms which SIM I am using (Primary) but no longer has an option to turn off Roaming. There is also no option to choose 4G/5G etc. The same is happening on my wife's 16e iPhone. These options were present before now. Not sure if it something to do with an iOS update, with the Carrier (Optus - Australia), or since an eSIM for an Overseas trip to Japan has been added. When we are travelling we will turn off our Primary SIM but need to have our iPhone number to use WhatsUp for voice calls when using the eSIM (UBIGI) data. I do not want to find that even though the Australian SIM Card is turned OFF (but not removed) that I return home to find that it has somehow been reactivated and I have Roaming charges to pay.

My iPhone calls go dead at 90 seconds. iPhone SE 2nd Gen: I suspect an internal iPhone setting has been altered My SE performs beautifully except for phone calls Incoming/ Outgoing mobile calls go dead at precisely 90 seconds: every time My carrier is T-Mobile and some of their Verizon towers have not been updated with T-Mobile tech but I get 2 to 3 bars which is normal for north FL FB and Netflix apps work well I Have 12 available Gigs for free use I clear my Web-browsers daily I execute a ShutOff/On twice(double-boot) each AM and PM PLEASE recommend which Internal iphone Settings I can review to ensure that my iPhone settings have not been altered. NOTE: “Cellular Data” ‘Options’ cannot be found any longer - Last year, I could choose LTE or 4G options: that screen no longer appears.

Before you left Sri Lanka.......did you set up an international calling option with your phone carrier?

If not, you will need to try to contact them online to add an international calling option.
