Mac air M1 less expensive new than a refurbished Mac air M1

I've seen this happen from time to time.

Apple tends not to offer discounts on new Macs, and only about 15% off list price for Certified Refurbished ones. Sometimes other retailers offer discounts on Macs – especially on older ones like M1 MacBook Airs – and you can wind up with the situation you describe.

Check the specs. Might have to do with the amount of RAM or storage.

I do not see that but be sure you are comparing the exact same specs.

Some Apple Authorized Resellers might be offering the MacBook Air with the Apple M1 Chip at a discount. If you buy from a reseller and not Apple, be sure that they are indeed authorized by Apple. Otherwise, you might not get an Apple warranty, the option for AppleCare+, or support.
