Sharing my Logic ProX license across devices

I'm currently using my iMac to run Logic, but would like to be able to do some editing on the move with my macbook pro, can I share the license across 2 machines, if only one is active at a time?

Also will I need to run the same OS on both?

You should be able to install and run Logic Pro X on any computer signed into your Apple ID. I run it on a Late 2012 Mac mini running Catalina and an M1 MacBook Air with Sonoma. Logic does get improvements over time and it may be that a project created on a newer version may not be compatible with an earlier one. I'm afraid I only dabble a little so I have no practical experience to draw on.
