Sharing a Pages doc

The "Image Gallery" in my Pages Doc is stagnant & doesn't function when shared or emailed... I've tried eporting it to PDF, sent it as images, resized it etc.. Nothing seems to correct it. Thanks

The images that you add to an Image Gallery in Pages are inserted into the document contents as their original image names and travel with the Pages document. The Image Gallery is not functional when exported to a PDF or Word and only the first image inserted into the Image Gallery appears on the PDF or Word document.

There are only two ways to send content with a functional image gallery:

  • Pages document
    • Collaboration requires current Pages version in the Mac App Store.
  • EPUB
    • No guarantee that the EPUB will open or view as expected beyond Apple's Books application.

Only Apple's Pages can open .pages documents and those with Pages versions older than 5.6, or third-party applications cannot open them.

I mentioned the two formats that can support the Pages image gallery and it may be the wrong way to integrate images into Pages for a larger audience using other applications.

Post in the Keynote community for that answer as I don't use it. Note that Keynote will also have limitations on what it can export and how that will be presentable and compatible to others that don't have Keynote, or a current version of Keynote.
