Wiping a phone without use of that phone

We have an iPhone 11 that has completely locked up - nothing we've done will turn the phone off, or allow access at all. I filed a claim and now have a replacement phone, however, I need to wipe my old phone before it is returned. How do I go about that when I can't access the phone?

If its entirely non responsive, then you cannot wipe it directly.
