Microsoft for applemac
I want to purchase a 1 off microsoft 365 for Applemac, using Catalina version 15.10.7 atm, can anyone supply details of best and cheapest way to do this pls, really only want Word and Excel

if you can get their older ms office 2016 or 2019 to work on catalina I can't say never tried it
and not sure if they let one activate the office install from older macOS versions, if you want to go down that path then if it was me then I would verify it with ms support that it works before spending money on the office packs
you can also just get libreoffice Home | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft
it reads and writes office files and looks pretty much like office and been around for a long time so it's a pretty solid office suit
