I was told by my friends that the updates hurt the apple device. Aka makes it worse. Can someone clarify if that is true or not?

I just need a person to help me understand if this is true or not. That’s it.

If you’re really still on iPadOS 14, you’re ~three years out of date.


For iPad models with current support, the most recent is iPadOS 17.2, released today.
