Change the language on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (SG)

The initial purchase may be cheaper, but you will not be able to get the phone repaired in Europe. You would need to return to China for that.

You can change the language on all iPhones if/as needed.

When I worked for a US cell phone company, the only iPhones we couldn't activate were the ones from China. The software is different. I don't know if that's still true. However, it's not worth the possibility, especially as you will also have no warranty.
