How can I update my Mac?
My Mac book has software MacOS 10 and I need to update to 11 but I can't find it in updates

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for a higher OS. If you're referring to Big Sur(11) as opposed to El Capitan(10.11), your computer will also need to meet the system requirements for it.
Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.
