A Panic is a system crash, like a Windows BSOD or a mainframe SYSABEND. The system may or may not be able to recover on its own, but even if it does you should restart the phone. “Panic” is just the term used by Unix based operating systems like iOS, Mac OS, Linux, etc for a system crash.

If it recurs frequently you should reinstall iOS using your computer and iTunes (Windows or older Macs) or Finder (newer Macs). If it recurs after reinstalling iOS it is most likely a hardware problem.

Tracking down a solution to a problem is simply not possible from a Diagnostic or Panic Reports. They are only useful to Apple Engineers that have software to decode the many bits of information provided there.

Your best bet is to describe the issue you are having to be able to determine a solution and also provide any repair history you may have had, Battery Health, and when the issue occurs. Does it only happen while on a charger, is the screen cracked, or does it happen when using a specific app. Those are the kind of details that may be able to help with finding a solution.

Also iOS 17.2 has been released and should be installed to verify the issue still persists.
