MacBook Pro M2 Chip battery drain

Five months ago, I purchased my MacBook Pro, and I've noticed that its maximum battery capacity has now decreased to 93%, with a cycle count of 58. Initially, I primarily used the MacBook while plugged in.

I've observed that the battery drains by one percentage point with each increase in the cycle count from 95%. Is there a recommended method to address this issue and improve the battery performance? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Seems normal.

Yes, leave Battery Health Management activated.

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.

use it as you see fit.

This % are dynamic not necessarily a linear degradation

Let the soft ware work for you

ex. BHM notice ~1 yr the Battery health has increased over time see col.2, battery cycles col.5

Apple will not entertain or recognize an issue unless the % is 80 or below—then you can take it in.
