Can AirPods be tuned by my audiologist for my hearing correction?

I have some hearing loss and use hearing aids. Since then I really miss having AirPods in noisy settings to I can cut down the background noise and continue listing to music, a phone call, or a podcast. Such as while riding the train or a bus, or inside a building with a crowd blabbering nearby. You can’t always find a ‘quite’ place to listen. As far as I can tell there is no way to allow my audiologist to ‘tune’ AirPods for my hearing correction. Is Apple working on that? Will it happen some day soon?

Haven't seen any way of doing this ... your audiologist may know for sure ...

As Apple users, like yourself, no-one in the community knows what Apple intends in the future.


Apple support have an article online that may be helpful for your iPhone:

Eg: says:

"Use your audiogram data from the Health app

Tap Custom Audio Setup, then tap Use Audiogram to use your audiogram data from the Health app to customize audio settings.


If you have a nearly symmetric audiogram, Headphone Accommodations will take the average of the two ears and fit the left and right audio channels with that profile. If you have an asymmetric audiogram, it will fit the left and right audio channels for your better ear."
