background colors in maps

Someone asked in 2019 about the different background colors in maps and never got an answer. This area has blue for water, dark green for golf holes. The small grey rectangles are houses. What is the difference between light green and light tan. It's not vegetation or elevation differences. It doesn't really look to be housing density? Does anybody know?
