iOS 17.2 Music app: sort playlist by Year still broken

Starting with iOS 17.1.x on my iPhone 14 Pro, attempting to sort a playlist by “Release Date” would crash the Music app, and make accessing that playlist by anything other than Siri also crash the app. Today I updated to iOS 17.2. Selecting those “cursed” playlists no longer crash the app, but attempting to sort by year is still broken. The results are wildly inaccurate, even for smaller playlists of 20 songs or so. Anyone else having this issue?

Any time after changing to that sort option the playlist becomes unusable. You cannot open that playlist or play the playlist without crashing the app. There is no way to change the sorting at this point either.

Apple music app crashing after iOS 18 update App crashes while playing playlists in few minutes. Not only crashing, it doesn’t show while you add a song into your playlist as already exists. However, it prompts after a while if the song already exists. This is also annoying as I’ve got more than 10k songs in my playlists!!!!
