Using "The gift card for everything apple".

I'm looking to make in-app purchases. I've redeemed the gift card, and I now have an account balance. I was wondering if I'll be able to make in-app purchases with this account balance.

I've been worried because I've read things online that say you need an iTunes gift card. I've also read that the "gift card for everything apple" works as an iTunes gift card as well.

So, all in all, I'm wondering if it's possible to make in-app purchases with "the gift card for everything apple".
