Are my older licenses of Final Cut Pro of any use?
I have older versions of Final Cut Pro. Do I need to purchase the new version, or is there a way to input my 'legacy' license once downloaded?
Apple Vision Pro is now available in the U.S.

If you really want something modern that is more in line with legacy FCP you should download the FREE version of DaVinci Resolve. It should do everything you need, the main limitation being that it will only export up to 4K @ 60fps . . . you can't export 8K or higher.
Many consider it to be more capable than FCP and it also includes Fairlight and Fusion that are somewhat similar to Compressor, Motion and Adobe Audition.
It's a bit of a no-brainer really.
The new version of FCP has to be purchased separately. Final Cut Studio licenses have nothing to do with it.
Thanks Tom, appreciate the quick response. I was hoping the Final Cut Pro 7 in Final Cut Studio would transfer.
The only way you can recoup anything is to sell the old apps but they are now so ancient and obsolete that few people will be interested.
