apple studio display dock station

Hi,

I want to connect my MacBook Pro (m2pro) to Apple Studio and I'm looking for a docking station that would allow the connection. I currently have a HP dock station g4 and the display only works with Windows, there is a black screen when the Mac is connected. Does anyone have a station that has its own power on switch, LAN port and works?

Whilst I am very happy with it, one weird issue came up. When I connect my MacBook to the Docks we have at work (HP USB-C Dock G5 with 2 1080p displays), the Mac only recognizes a single display and shows the same output on both monitors. I can connect to one via HDMI and that gives me two external displays, but over a single cable that does not work right. Every other laptop around the office can output to two displays just fine. Just not the Mac. Which has already led to some funny comments about Apple wanting to do stuff in a special way. Is this some DP Alt-Mode compatibility lacking in macOS? And also, what dock should I get for at home? I have looked at the HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4 but after my experience with the HP USB-C Dock G5 I'm wary of what dock I should get. I'd like to connect two 1440p screens over DisplayPort, Ethernet and some USB-A ports.

MacBook Air M1 Docking Station issue Hi, I'm trying to use an i-tec USB-C Docking Station with my MacBook Air M1, I currently have 2 monitors connected too the Dock both via HDMI and the Dock is connected via a USB-C cable too the MacBook. The dock also has a Keyboard and a Mouse attached too it which is working fine, only issue is I can't get the Displays too work, the displays aren't being detected by my Mac. As suggested I have rebooted the computer, unplugged the dock etc but nothing. I have also disconnected one of the displays from the dock but still nothing. I can get the Mac too work with an external Monitor using a USB-C too HDMI adaptor. I'm aware that the M1 MacBook Air is limited too just one external display but would assume that at least one display would work. I don't think the Docking Station is the issue as it works fine with my HP Elitebook G6 that I use for work. Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated Many Thanks

Apple Studio display is a very high resolution "5k" display with such a high data rate it demands a DIRECT ThunderBolt-3 or better connection.

No other devices intervening are likely to make it work on a Mac, where ANY transmission errors will make the display go dark.
