Cellular Apple Watch & iPhone - using the same number

If you set up the watch from her phone, it will have the same number as her phone. It's only when you set up the watch for someone who does not have their own phone that you get a different number. I've had a Apple Watch with Cellular for years and yes, it has exactly the same number as my iPhone.

That is correct.

does your bill show a different number for billing purposes?

Edited: No. The watch is listed on my bill with the name number but with "(NumberShare)" underneath.

Nope, Verizon. And they may do their billing differently. But, what matters is not what they do for billing purposes but how they route the calls.
