Clicking on empty part of the screen shows the desktop

Hi all.

After upgrading to Mac OS Sonoma when I click on empty part of the screen hides all the open apps and shows the Desktop. Is there an option to disable this.

There is if you don't use Stage Manager. System Settings > Desktop & Dock. Set "Click wallpaper…" to "Only in Stage Manager".
