USAA or other Banking Card (Verify) **** Loop

Hey Everyone. If anyone out there is having the same issue I had, please be advised that this method works to stop being stuck in a loop where Apple will not verify your USAA card, but USAA is saying there isn't an issue. You may have just bought a new device, had everything port over fine, but are getting issues with (Verify) showing up next to your USAA card (or possibly any other bank's card), and when you go to Verify it doesn't actually let you do anything (you'll be able to hit Edit, but that doesn't change anything). You might also find that removing and readding the card to your Wallet does not change any of this. I found a list of instructions in another post, but couldn't comment on it because it had closed, so I wanted to just put out to the Apple Community that this does indeed work (worked for me anyway) and to recommend it to anyone else who has this issue.

  1. Remove the card from your Wallet.
  2. Delete your banking app from your phone.
  3. Sign out of Apple ID on your phone.
  4. Force restart your iphone (volume up, volume down, then hold the power button until the device fully cycles back to the Apple icon).
  5. Sign back into your Apple ID.
  6. Download your banking app and reload the card into your Wallet.

For anyone else who has spent hours on the phone with your bank and the Apple Support team, as good as they are, no one was able to help answer this question. Mad props to the other guy who put this list of steps up. Good luck!
