sign in with changed email address

Some time ago, I changed to a gmail acct. I changed my email in my apple ID, but when I start up my computer, it wants me to sign in to the cloud with the old email address. I've double checked my new email address, but the auto login still has the old email and its not changeable in the pop up window. I'm signed in now, but the pop up keeps coming up every 30-40 seconds. How can I change that auto sign in?

icloud popup asking me to sign in with an old email address Hi! I recently signed into icloud to manage my storage and a new continuous popup keeps asking me to sign in under my old email address (I'm already signed in under new email). This is only happening on my home computer. It won't let me change the email address to the new one. It keeps popping up over and over and is so annoying. changed appleID email - can't login to anything on MacBook I changed my AppleID email address to a new email address (old one was overrun with spam). The AppleID password is fine, and works on everything on my iPhone as well as iCloud on the web (accessing via same device that is giving me trouble.) In the settings on my MacBook, it still displays the old email address as my AppleID, and prompts me to enter the password (which I repeat works everywhere else). Obviously entering the password on the MacBook does not work, but without it working, I cannot get into settings to update the AppleID email address I'm now using. It's a vicious cycle of dysfunction. SOS! Thanks in advance!
