iPad moving by itself

So, I woke up with my iPad behind my pillow like usual. The only difference was, it had no case. Basically, when I turned it on, it had no problems but after a few minutes, it kept on glitching and moving by itself which is annoying and irritating. I kept on shutting it down although I struggled since I couldn’t use my iPad properly while I do so but nothing changed and only kept on glitching and moving. How do I fix this?

Did you already try to force restart your iPad?

Force restart iPad - Apple Support

If this does not help, the issue can also be hardware related. Which iPad do you use?

Depending on the age and use of your iPad, this might be an expanding battery, pressing against the display.
