Does a little red circle with a cross hatch mean Sent?

Hello Tom Meade1, Check to see is your cellular is turned on. If you are sending to an Android user check in iPhone Settings > Messages SMS is ON and MMS is ON.

There is no app called "text messages". Do you mean the Messages app? Or something else? Can you give a larger picture with more context? I've never seen that symbol in Messages. If messages aren't sent, there is a red exclamation point.
When you are sending a text message and you get the Red exclamation symbol, then that means that the text message failed to be sent.

I see that in text messages. Why aren’t
they getting sent? The addys are correct - it must be a setting on iPhone.
