I have concerns that someone i know is monitoring my iphone,
can someone see what im doing on my iphone? Listen to my calls? See my messages and social media messages?!
is this possible or is it me just being over concerned?

So, the phone was unlocked and someone did have full access to your phone? It's too late now, but you made a huge mistake.
You need to erase your phone and set it up again. Do not restore from a backup, because that will reinstall the junk that your "friend" installed on the phone.
As soon as the phone is back up and running again, you need to change your Apple ID Password.
If all this sounds difficult, you need to make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop and the let them help you take care of things.

No one can access your phone unless you have let them use the phone for an hour or so (to install software) and you have also provided them with your Apple ID and Passcode.
Actually someone had access to my phone foe maybe half an hour, but he don’t know my pass word for the apple id,

I can't provide you with any more advice than I already have. If it were me, I would head for the Apple Store....even though I have been answering questions on these support forums for 15 years.

Apple store told me they are not supporting software, they are just into hardware !
