What if I don’t know my child’s Apple ID password and can’t reset it when trying to delete the account permanently?

I accidentally made 2 Apple ID accounts for the same child. I don’t remember the password or security questions to the account I want to permanently delete so resetting it isn’t an option. I need that account removed from my family sharing group so I can add my last child account .

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 17

You will need to contact Apple support and request access to the account before you can actually request deletion.
