Embed audio file in a still image

Hi. I have an audio file (.m4a, but that's negotiable) that I'd like to embed in a JPG so that when the file is transmitted, via Mail or Messages, the picture shows up and can be "played".

Any advice?

JPG files can't include audio. You can either create a video file or, if you're familiar with coding, create a webpage containing the image and the audio track.
