I have an older iPod touch with the max, iOS 4.2.1 installed. When I try to install an app, I get "Cannot connect to iTunes store." Previously, I used to be able to install and launch apps. Oh, I can't launch apps anymore too. I recently uninstalled iTunes, then reinstalled iTunes. Could this be the issue? Or is it the recent update to the iTunes store? What should I do?
For security reasons 4th generation and older iPod Touches can no longer connect to the app store. What's more, there are probably no apps left on the store that will work with the iOS available on the older iPods.
The best way you to launch to your app update your iTune and everything it gonna be Ok or if it can't work in that way better you install new iOS to your ipod
I have the latest version of iTunes, and the max iOS version for the iPod touch 2 (4.2.1)
It’s just weird, that not that long ago, maybe a month or two ago, I could run and install apps
