ITUNES BURNS CD OUT OF PLAYLIST ORDER
Windows, Windows 10
First right-click the playlist name in the sidebar and click Copy to Play Order to ensure that the order you see on screen is the order iTunes should be trying to burn. Now try right-click > Burn Playlist to Disc from the playlist name in the sidebar over File > Burn Playlist to Disc. The file menu method seems to have been broken for some time. Might pay to test with some erasable discs first. Note you cannot burn content that is in the cloud or comes via an Apple Music subscription.

Ok here is what I did, first in the main menu make sure you TURN OFF SHUFFLE, then when you click on a playlist you will see he small boxes above the list right click on the name box and a list comes up. Scroll thru the list and shut off everything maybe except artist time etc. Then scroll down and check time and track number this has been working if the disk shows it out of order just click on the track box and it should show it the play order
Are you burning as an audio CD, or data disc or mp3 CD? Only the first is intended to burn in a specific order.
