Apps designed for iOS/iPadOS may allow you to share photos and videos with your device Photo Library. Look for a "Share" icon - typically a square with an upward pointing arrow:
Tap the Share icon to expose the iPad's Share sheet. Scroll down the list of actions - and if available, select Save to Photos.
