My front camera keeps flashing red and it does it when I take off my finger off the camera

My phone keeps taking pictures of me or something my front camera flashes red when I take my finger off of it

Front iPhone camera keeps flashing, but not to the visible I I noticed when I go on my VR headset and I look at my phone, I can see a visible flashing constantly. I takeoff my head to see what it is but the visible I can’t see anything what is this please someone explain.

Hi, I think it could be the proximity sensor, you will notice it more in low light conditions.
