Why does the secondary storyline automatically deselect after using the blade shortcut?
I am allowed to select my secondary storyline and can add markers, and it does not deselect the secondary storyline, allowing me the convenience of adding additional markers without having to re-select the secondary storyline every F-ing time.
Why does FCP X decide that using the blade shortcut on a secondary storyline is not important enough for the secondary storyline to stay selected, but adding markers is? It deselects after EVERY SINGLE BLADE SHORCUT, only allowing me the option to manually and very primitively use the blade tool cursor over the clip in my secondary storyline. I am extremely blessed in that we use APP at work but was hoping I could find some use for this software that i've essentially abandoned by using it to edit personal social media content instead of trying Capcut for the first time. Is there any logical reason as to why I can use the marker shortcut BUT NOT the blade shortcut? Is this something they might consider changing a few dozen updates from now?
