Issue to format columns and cells in Numbers

I have a long list of urls and I want to make them clickable from the numbers sheet to open the webpage. But the only way I have found is to first highlight a url in a cell and then mark it to go to Format/Add Link/Webpage

But since I have really many urls this is not very rational. Is there a way to format a whole column as "webpage links"? All the best, Paul

If you don't want to convert one by one then you can use the HYPERLINK function and fill it down the column.

If the URLs are in column, then:

=HYPERLINK(A2)

and fill down the column.

Note that you can turn on "smart" hyperlinks at Edit > Substitutions > Smart Web and Email Links for new values entered into Numbers cells.
