app store issue. amazon app issue

i downloaded amazon app from app store on my iphone 14 promax which has ios 17.2. the app feels like a web browser rather than an real app.

this is the version number i am seeing in the app.

please help. let me know if my phone is jailbroken.

BBC News App not updating back to last compatible version (iPad Mini 3) I have an iPad Mini 3 running on software version 12.5.7 Recently, when I open the BBC News App, message comes up on the screen saying: "App Version Expired" with more text underneath reading "The installed version of the BBC News App is out of date. You must update it from the App Store." along with two options of Cancel (which takes me to a blank red loading screen of the app) and App Store (which for some reason takes me to my home screen). When I go to the BBC News App on the App Store app, the Update button gives me the following message: "Download an older version of this app? The current version requires iOS 13.0 or later, but you can download the last compatible version." When I tap on download in this prompt, this prompt box disappears for less than a second and then comes back with the same message, in a recurring manner. Any suggestions?

The app looks normal in the picture you posted. What makes you think it's not the app?
