Link to Aliases inside of iCloud

So inside my iCloud Drive, there's following situation:

I have a Folder A with a folder A1 inside of it.

Somewhere else, I have a Folder B. I'd like this folder B to contain the folder A1. The problem is that A1 has a lot of files and is big in size, and I would rather not have it twice for other reasons too (e.g. if I delete or add files, I'll have to keep both folders up to date - that's not rational and too much hassle).

So on my Mac, I created an Alias of A1 and places it into folder B. Perfect - everything seems to work!

Except it doesn't work on iOS or iPadOS. You can't open Aliases there it seems.

Is there a way to still make this work?

It would be a great feature, I hope it's possible somehow.

Thanks!
