Multiple timers

When I open the timer I have more than one showing. I swipe left and delete the one I don't want but it appears again the next time I open the timer. Is there some way to permanently stop it from showing up?

Why can’t I delete old timers I from the Timer App???!!! I tried using the steps barberlives123 in Support posted on someone else having the same issue I’m having…but his steps DO NOT WORK. Yes if you open an old timer you want to delete it has a delete or “X” option. However it doesn’t remove from the list of timers from previous uses. So I’m still at a loss for HOW to remove the other timers. Is it IMPERATIVE that they get removed? No, but it bugs me lol and honestly, that’s such a SIMPLE option to have, why didn’t developers add that option? it NEVER ceases to amaze me the truly SIMPLE & often times NEEDED options on apps that Apple and other developers don’t include on their apps! Life is hard enough as it is, especially since C-19, so why make it harder for us customers lol???
