iPad Pro slow after ios 17

Ever since the first ios 17 update my, virtually new, iPad Pro is slow to load web pages, videos, photos, music, even embedded photos and videos from Apple News and iTunes/Apple Store. My Spectrum email stopped being able to send messages until I deleted the account and reloaded it, but now some of my save folders have disappeared. This is also the case for my iPhone 13.

I have checked all the suggested "fix a slow ipad" issues and nothing helps, Before the ios 17 update everything was blazing fast, no lagging, no blank spots in the news feed, no 'hanging' web pages.

My wife has experienced the same issues on her, slightly older iPad Pro and iPhone 13.

I have always trusted Apple and updated devices religiously and this is the first time experiencing such a blatant degradation in performance across devices.

This needs a fix and fast!
