AI and photo memories

Hi Apple. I hear so much about AI these days and how powerful and wonderful it is and will change our lives for the better. Today is the 1 year anniversary of a horrific accident where I was in ICU for 18 days and now a paraplegic from a motorcycle accident where another driver ran a stop sign and hit me. I am today still in constant pain and recovering. This was not something myself or my family wish to be reminded of with "happy memories" so how about you build that AI engine to see photos of people on life support to maybe not trigger a popup for their 17 year old daughter to click on who has already mental health issues and trigger an "episode" . Thanks Apple.

Looking at the Featured photos can also be painful, not just the Memories. Both have been designed to surprise us interesting photos, that we haven't looked at for a long time.

Apple has already added tools to avoid certain memories. But his requires updating to the most recent system versions, either iOS 17 on an iPhone, or iPadOS 17 on an iPad or macOS 14 on a Mac. In the most recent system versions we can turn off the Notifications about new Memories in the Settings > Photos, and also disable the access to our photos for the creation of featured content. In the earlier system versions we can at least exclude selected people, so they will not appear in memories or as featured photos.
