Mixer as mic connected to MacBook Pro - volume too low

Using Allen and Health Moxer connected to MBP via printer cable. The mixer is the mic picking up the church service. Zoom participants at home can’t hear it that well even with their device volume at max. Mixer volume is up all the way, and Mac OS settings for microphone is grayed out when pointing to the mixer. Any ideas to increase the volume? Sorry, zoom input is grayed out for mic as well. Only connected mixer has any influence on volume. Thanks
