Sonoma 14.1.2 not double sided printing with Epson ET-1480

IF you are using Apple's AirPrint driver then you need follow the setting given by PRP_53 above. This will be the case if you are using WiFi.

IF you are using a USB cable between your Mac and printer, what you will see is different, because you are using the bespoke Epson driver and not Apple's AirPrint version.

Under Printer Options, there's a number of sub-menus. Click on Two-sided Printing Settings. Followed by Two-Sided Printing: and choose between "Off" (default), Long or short edge binding.

I then saved this as a preset called "My Duplex".

Not sure this will be a remedy but as info, the latest version of Sonoma is current 14.2. Might be worth trying that.

Unfortunately, Epson has Marketed there instruction to what appears the be only to Microsoft Windows users and has forgotten the Other important Operating System - macOS

Same problem with taking away my double-sided printing default, but with Canon MF240 since Sonoma 14.4.1
