how do i add photos to ipod touch 3rd gen from my mac

i have a 3rd gen iPod touch and want to transfer photos from my macbook pro to the iPod...cant figure it out

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

The signature strip on your post states that you are using macOS 10:13, which means that you have access to iTunes.


You use iTunes to add photos to your iPod, in much the same way as adding music. Using the screenshots below as your guide, proceed as follows (note that the Mac version of iTunes looks very slightly different, but the principals are the same):

    • connect the iPod to your computer and then click the iPod icon that will appear in the top of the iTunes Window:


    • that will then display the Device/Settings/Summary pane. Switch to the Device/Settings/Photos pane:


    • on the Photos pane, tick the box (check the box) marked Sync Photos (which causes the greyed-out Copy photos from to become active)
    • use the Pictures drop-down menu to choose the folders that you want to copy to your iPod



    • Click the Apply button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window (not shown in the screenshots)
